Hope4Ukraine

In other words, hope for Ukraine. According to a definition by Ensie, hope stands for: “the focus on a future good, which, although difficult to realize, is also experienced as a possibility.

Ukraine, country in ruins

We have hope for Ukraine, a country that is still largely in ruins due to the war and where people also have a lot to process on a spiritual level due to the many losses associated with a war such as this.

Together we make the difference

We believe we can make a difference together, standing side by side with our brothers and sisters in Ukraine. With the relatively small amount we can contribute, we believe that makes all the difference for those who can be helped with it. We believe in recovery and we want to actively work for it. We contribute to recovery through our main activities, which consist of: recovery trips, aid transports and spiritual recovery.

The dove, symbol of peace

The dove in our logo symbolizes peace and the holy spirit. In the Bible story of Noah (Genesis 8:8-12), a dove was released to see if the earth had dried up after the Flood. When the dove returned with an olive branch, it was a sign that the Flood was coming to an end, and that meant hope, hope for a new life. In the case of the war in Ukraine, like that dove, we want to bring hope. The dove is also associated with the Holy Spirit (John 1:32). The Holy Spirit is the helper and comforter sent to the world (Rom 8:26, John 14:26).

What is Hope4Ukraine?

We are an PBO Foundation that:

organizes shipments of aid transports to Ukraine;
organizes recovery trips for volunteers to Ukraine;
provides food to the villages along the front line.

We are a Christian foundation with the Word of God as the basis for our policy and activities. We are focused on bringing recovery to Ukraine.

We believe in rebuild the country of Ukraine and we want to actively work for it. We contribute to rebuild through our main activities, which consist of: rebuild trips, aid transports and spiritual recovery.
